This informative webinar will dive into strategic decision-making that organizations may be making about how to fulfill their mission through alternative organizational structures. Lara Jakubowski will cover trends in nonprofit approaches to formal collaboration in support of preserving or expanding impact. This webinar will address how to assess your organization’s needs through partnerships as well as how to initiate the process with one or more potential collaborators. We will explore different options for partnership and what criteria to use to decide which suits your organization best. These will include spin-offs and asset transfers, mergers and shared service alternatives, and sunsets/dissolutions. Best practices are that every organization regularly consider whether it is achieving its desired impact and how it could use its resources most effectively. This 90-minute webinar will guide you in thinking through your options and explain the importance of clarity of purpose during this time. Audience participants will receive slides in advance and there will be ample time for discussion and questions.
